  Electrician Job  Description & Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical documents.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems, to ensure proper functioning – May require working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs.
  • Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.
  • Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed. areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduits or ducts to complete circuits between boxes.
  • Perform installation on low voltage systems, electronic fire alarm systems, pull stations, strobes, horns, detectors, exit signs and other related building system products.
  • Construct or fabricate parts using hand tools according to specifications.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits or moving or lifting heavy objects.
  • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections using hand tools.
  • Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts and reassemble equipment using hand tools.
  • Direct work of employees with less experience and assist these individuals as needed.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experienced Mechanics with at least 2 years of experience in single & three phase power.
  • Speak, Read and Write English
  • Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position.
  • Must be available to work 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday at minimum.
  • PPE and own basic tools required for the trade.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Good attitude and work well with others.

PLUMBER

Job description:

  • Two-plus years of commercial plumbing experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to read blueprints, specs and understand code.
  • Med Gas Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Replacement including high-pressure steam systems.
  • Hot water heating systems and drainage systems.
  • Installs, maintains, inspects, and repairs residential, commercial piping, and plumbing equipment concerned with potable water, gas, and sewage systems.

Pipe Fitter

We are looking for a reliable pipe fitter to plan, install and maintain piping systems in industrial and residential properties. The pipe fitter will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, planning, installing, and maintaining piping systems and related equipment.
To be successful as a pipe fitter you should have ample experience in welding and installing pipe systems according to specifications. Ultimately, a top pipe fitter has excellent mechanical skills and a good understanding of the requirements and precautions necessary for working with pipes conveying dangerous chemicals and liquids.

Pipe Fitter Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting the workplace, clearing obstructions and preparing materials and equipment.
  • Studying blueprints and planning pipe systems and related equipment installations.
  • Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications.
  • Measuring and marking pipes for cutting and threading.
  • Assembling and welding pipe components and systems.
  • Securing pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
  • Ordering required materials such as pipes, hangars, brackets, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
  • Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
  • Clearing pipe systems of obstructions and testing their functionality.
  • Complying with relevant codes and regulatory standards.

Pipe Fitter Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Trade school education or apprenticeship.
  • Meet state licensure requirements.
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter.
  • Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and managerial skills.

HVAC & Sheetmetal Mechanics

We are hiring HVAC & Sheetmetal Mechanics.

Responsibilities:

  • This individual will be responsible for being proficient in all styles of duct (spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, SnD, etc.)
  • General knowledge of piping and controls, AC install, retrofit, fiberboard
  • Responsible for working with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials
  • Measure and cut appropriate size of sheet metal, as well as install preassemble duct
  • Interpret blueprints and complete layouts if necessary
  • Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials
  • Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years in commercial duct installation
  • Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
